What is a White Paper?

White paper is a document that is presented to users by a company, organization or community of the ideas that are desired to be highlighted and aimed as content.

The white paper, in which the features of the idea it brings forward and the results of this idea are explained, is a tool where detailed information about the organization or company that created it can be learned and the project is explained in detail The white paper aims to inform and convince users based on facts and evidence, not to tell users why people should buy your product right now.

The White Paper is basically a marketing strategy used by companies. These are the documents that are created to convince customers or potential customers and to convince them to buy the product as a result and the details of the targeted project are explained. As a result, investors want to convert the funds they hold into investment vehicles. Companies or organizations put forward these documents in detail and try to convince customers to benefit from the funds of these investors.

We also need to talk about crypto assets for companies or organizations that we mention as an investment tool. Today, there are many crypto assets listed in the crypto money market, which is increasing in popularity. They have a white paper on crypto assets in the crypto money market. In the process of determining the crypto asset you want to invest, these documents help investors to make informed investments. We can say that the projects will decide whether many crypto assets will exist in the future on the exchanges where they are listed today. In this context, we encounter the importance of the White Paper.
If we examine the White Paper of Bitcoin, the most well-known crypto asset, it is mentioned that it has emerged as a cash payment system.  It was published in 2008 by a person or group under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a document that describes the details from how the transactions are carried out on the network to the mining system, the incentives received on the network, confidentiality and calculations and is included in the technical information.

In general, since it is an academic written language, it may be difficult to understand some points. Light Papers, which have a simpler narrative format as opposed to the intensive language of White Paper, are documents that can be consulted for information. Light Paper, where technical information is explained in a simpler way, is a document where more understandable information is presented to the target audience.
