Ripple and the SEC Withdraw Their Appeals
Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have mutually decided to withdraw their appeals, officially closing the 5-year-long lawsuit. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced this decision on social media and stated that the SEC had also dropped its appeal. Thus, the years-long legal uncertainty about whether XRP was considered a security ended.
The decision, made in 2023, stated that XRP itself was not a security and that secondary market transactions could not be subject to SEC regulations. However, direct sales to institutional investors were considered unregistered securities offerings. Ripple dropped its appeal on this part and closed the process. Although the company will pay a certain fine in the future, the legal status of XRP in the US has been clarified.
Staking-Yielded Solana and Ethereum ETFs on the Way
After the SEC completes the comment process, REX-Osprey is preparing to launch staking-yielding ETFs for Solana (SSK) and Ethereum (ESK). These ETFs will both track crypto prices and distribute the returns from staked assets to investors as dividends.
While there have only been futures-based Solana ETFs in the US so far, these funds will be the first ETFs to reflect staking income to investors. REX’s C-corp structure allows these funds to be launched by bypassing the SEC’s spot ETF approval process. The funds will trade on the Cboe BZX exchange and will carry a 0.75% management fee.
Robinhood Launches Micro Futures for XRP and Solana
Robinhood has expanded its crypto product offering with the launch of micro futures contracts for XRP and Solana. The move follows on from the futures products Robinhood launched at the beginning of the year, which began with Bitcoin and Ethereum and has now expanded to XRP and Solana. The company, which recently acquired Bitstamp for $200 million, plans to add WonderFi to its portfolio in line with its global expansion goal.
Trump’s Energy and Land Move for AI
The Trump administration is considering executive orders that would open federal lands to data centers and speed up permitting processes for energy projects in response to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence infrastructure. According to Reuters, these steps include prioritizing projects affiliated with the Department of Energy and opening lands managed by the Department of the Interior to data center construction.
These initiatives align with the U.S.’s goal of building the AI infrastructure necessary to compete with China. Along with Trump’s “Stargate” initiative, a $500 billion investment plan involving Oracle, SoftBank and OpenAI was also announced. To cope with the increasing energy demand, Amazon, xAI and other tech giants are continuing to invest billions of dollars in data centers across the country.

BTC is trading at $108,253 as of morning hours, down 0.09%. BTC, which has been moving in a horizontal band for about five days, started the new week above the $107,827 resistance. If the positive trend continues, the trend line of $109,050 can be expected to be broken. Then, the 110,507 level can be expected to work as resistance.
In possible pullbacks, $ 107,827 can be met as the first support level. Then, 105,984 and 103,502 levels are in the support position, respectively.

ETHEREUM(ETH)
ETH is priced at $ 2,501 as of the morning hours with a 0.04% gain in value. The price gave a positive signal by moving upwards from the $ 2,466 – $ 2,392 band, where a horizontal movement has been observed for a long time. If this level is maintained, the $ 2,590 resistance can be followed as the first target. In the continuation of the rise, the $ 2,730 level is the next strong resistance zone. In possible pullbacks, the $ 2,466 level may now work as the first support, and if it falls below this zone, the $ 2,392 and $ 2,285 levels may come to the fore again.

RIPPLE(XRP)
XRP is priced at $ 2.19 as of the morning hours with a 0.63% loss in value. The price seems to have been rejected from the resistance at $ 2.2122. In case of stronger purchases, the resistance zone at $ 22.59 will gain importance. In downward movements, the first support is $ 17.61; below this, $ 16.44 and $ 15.60 levels are followed as strong support areas.

SOLANA(SOL)
SOL is traded at $ 151 levels with a 1.43% loss in value as of the morning hours. After a strong rise in the short term, the price is experiencing a pullback by getting stuck at the $ 157.75 resistance.
At this stage, the $ 149.10 level can be followed as the first support point. If this support is lost, the $ 141.80 and $ 134.83 levels may come to the fore, respectively. In order for the upward movements to regain momentum, the $ 157.75 resistance must be broken. When this level is exceeded, $ 164.12 can be targeted.
